I've been meaning to write this post for a while now, but here it is; a list of freeware games I would recommend people try out, organized by genre. By freeware I refer to games that offer their entire content for free. This list doesn't include games that follow the "free-to-play" or any other "freemium" payment model. I've played numerous freeware games over the years, and these are some of my favorites. I think it would be incredible if this listing helps people discover new experiences or relive the pioneering days of the indie game movement. Please enjoy!
